So I have a dilemma. I have downloaded a theme from my LIVE store and uploaded it into my demo store for customizing. I removed the disabled_on from the multicolumn.liquid file so I could use it in the footer. After finishing the theme in the demo store, I saved it out as the ZIP, then uploaded it into the LIVE store, but I cannot use the multicolumn in the footer. Like the file didn't get transferred correctly, or it was overwrited by a default instead of taking my modified one.

How did he modify directly the theme in VS?

I really dislike the Shopify CLI. You have to do too many things manually. With themekit you just connect your theme with github integration, run `theme watch` from your local environment after setting up your config.yml file, and everything works. When you make a file change, theme watch picks it up, updates the live store and updates the connected repo. It also has a notify function you can tap into to do all kinds of other stuff. The Shopify CLI is just clunky and manual. And if you push a theme and the settings in a JSON file have changed, they will overwrite the changes on the development theme in Shopify. But I guess it's all going to the Shopify CLI, because I heard that themekit will not recognize the new theme blocks 'blocks' folder and it won't recognize changes to style settings that are coming. Pretty jank.

I am having problems with running the debugger. It doesn't have an option to "attach to unity'. Just a blue button and if I choose unity in a dropdown menu I get "a message about installing "vstruc" or open json. Not sure why it's different for me. Also not sure what you clicked to create the editor config file.
